We will normally attend an onsite visit to assess the space, speak to you about your needs, and gather everything we need to provide accurate estimates for the works. Our written quotation will take into account the costs of materials as well as labour time. All costs will be outlined clearly and transparently, and if anything should change throughout the course of the project, we will discuss the options with you and make sure you’re aware of any additional charges before issuing new costs right away.

This will depend on whether you have the space to do so; what you’re planning to use the extension for; and whether creating an extension is likely to add value to your home. There are lots of options, from simple side extensions to single and double storey structures. You will also need to consider whether you will need to apply for planning permission in order to create your extension. Generally speaking, you will not need permitted developer rights if your planned structure extends less than 6 metres from your property (or 8 metres if you live in a detached property). Always speak to us first to determine what kind of extension will make sense for your home and whether you will need approval from the local council in order to start the works.

Most integral garage conversions will fall under permitted development rules, meaning you will not need to apply for planning permission. However, we would always recommend checking with your local authority before setting the wheels in motion.
